josski32: Underseafishs: There are 2 reasons to use a pen as a clicker: 1) you want to start clicker training right away and you haven't had the chance to get a clicker 2) you have a shy/reactive dog and he/she is scared of the clicker; you would use the pen to get him/her used to the clicking sound so he/she isn't as scared of the real clicker.
