lol i think the buck just wanted to eat in peace and the dog kept telling it YOU ARE MY TOY!
you want to be careful one hit and you doggie might get hurt real bad but u probably already know that
Wow - send that in to Animal Planet's funny videos show. That was amazing. Loved the child's comments : )
hahaah i love the little kid in the background. "If they mate, we're in trouble." I could just see my Vizsla doing the same thing.
Cool vid, but the dog could easily have got a face full of antler on a few occaisions. Both beautiful animals.
DANG!thats crazy, that was a hudge buck...thats like once in a lifetime thing to see right there..
It's great that you were able to capture this confrontation on video! if that is your child in the backround i compliment you on your great parenting skills as well for sharing this moment with them!!!
Only once in a lifetime, eh? Very good video, and I also laughed out loud when your little boy said "if they mate, we're in trouble!" Our dog is also a vizsla, but not a very "quiet" one...his first bark, and the deer would be gone. Very well behaved dog you have...thank you for sharing!
nO SPARRING HERE THE DOG WAS TRYING TO GET THE BUCK TO PLAY
very cool, as a deer hunter i love to watch deer. neat to see that dog trying to play with the deer and neat to see how tolerant that buck was. great job, cool kid commentary as well.
Awsome video... Love the child's commentary! Every family should have a dog and children and family outings to experience such things (or a nice backyard).
I see you posted this about a year ago...is your dog still doing this? I wouldn't let him do this especially in November when the deer start breeding...they can get very aggressive.
Ok good! I know during mating season they can be. My mom's cat tried to challenged a momma deer with her fawn one evening. The deer started stomping the ground, they can kick and the vet said deer are known to kick, or stomp to death small dogs and cats. So I was worried about your dog.
not sure what that means??? good lord.. I think I could have the prime venison with my bare hands.. they are not afraid...
cool vid
Get a decent deer dog and you've got some prime venison there
yes.. she does it every day.. they are NOT aggressive at all.. i have another encounter that I will post this week .. huge buck and he just couldn't be bothered.. she even trys to bark at him, picks up a stick and tries to engage him in a game of chase.. she eventually gives up and comes back inside.. these deer just don't care.. unreal!
